My story
I was born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where punk rock, skateboarding, and graffiti shaped my early worldview. After discovering glass pipe making and getting my first tattoo, I left college to pursue a creative path outside traditional boundaries. I began tattooing in Las Cruces, then moved to Dallas in 2001, working in high-volume street shops while building Trinity Glassworks into a respected name in the Texas glass scene. During this time, exposure to large-scale tattooing—especially Japanese work—set the direction for my career.
In 2009, I sold Trinity Glassworks and moved to Denver, Colorado.
After working at Think Tank Tattoo, I co-founded Dedication Tattoo in 2013, where we’ve focused on quality, community, and respect for the craft. My work is now centered on Japanese-inspired tattooing, further deepened by traveling to Japan in 2018. I’m grateful to the artists, clients, and family who’ve supported me along the way—tattooing is a shared pursuit, and I’m honored to be part of it.
